This link takes you to the "Mandelbrot Set". The (Mandelbrot Set) is a simple equation that describes an intensely complex form. The form or equation behaves much in the same way as Nature: as in a growing plant or the erosion of land caused by a river.
A deep sense for aesthetics and the understanding of mathematical principals can aid in creating well proportioned architecture.
There is no magic bullet to design. It is a process. It is half art and intuition, and half science.
Design is the balance of materials and structure, budget and site restraints,  infused with Proportion, Drama, Humor, Wonder, and Delight. It takes outstanding listening skills, experience and a lot of work to create a lasting "Architectural Piece".
